Picnic at the Parsonage

Picnic at the Parsonage – You are invited to a September 3rd church parsonage picnic following the Sunday AM service. All tableware, beverages, meat and dessert will be provided. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer for those planning to attend

Prayer Meeting

Beginning this Wednesday (Aug 16) during our 7:00 PM Prayer Meeting, we will explore a book entitled “Maximize – Leveraging the Strengths of Your Small Church”. This will prompt some healthy discussions, and would be a great reason to rekindle a midweek fellowship and prayer habit!

Ladies Missionary Fellowship (LMF)

How much do you know about the lives of Dorcas, Joanna, Priscilla or Abigail? The LMF is beginning an exciting new study of the Women of the Bible starting at our Sept 7th meeting.

Find out how Women of the Bible delt with forgiveness and faith, jealousy and vengeance, abuse and slavery, humility and reconciliation, and much more. How can we relate to these and what can they teach us?

We will be using a “Women of the Bible” devotional by Ann Spangler and Jean Syswerda. It can be purchased through Guideposts, but you do not need to purchase a copy to join in the study. Use whatever reference you have on hand – including your Bible!

Scripture references will be given prior to the meetings to allow for study and reflection. The women selected for the Fall LMF meetings are:

September 7th – Eve – the first woman!
Read Genesis 1:26-31, 2-4

October 5th – Abigail
Read 1 Samuel 25:2-42

November 2nd – Esther
Read Esther 1-10

Ladies’ Circle

Here’s an opportunity to meet & fellowship while we create. Bring your sewing, quilting, knitting,crocheting, embroidery, etc. to work on in our Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend, and stay all day or just a couple of hours.Bring lunch and a beverage for yourself (kitchen available). No childcare will be provided.No RSVP is required. Questions?
